Assura Plc (now PHP)
Having already completed a HYVERT living wall installation to the front façade of Assura plc's South Manchester HQ, we were delighted to be invited back to install a second to the side elevation too. Measuring 13m in height, this particular HYVERT living wall was focussed on increasing biodiversity to the area.
The plant palette prioritised hardy, pollution-absorbing and high-pollen flora native to the North West and designed to optimize nectar, shelter, and nesting material. HYVERT.AI living wall systems integrate automated irrigation and intelligent environmental monitoring to dynamically track plant health, soil moisture and resource consumption thus helping Assura plc meet their commitment of only owning, occupying and developing net zero carbon assets by 2030.

Not only does Assura plc's second living wall encourage increased biodiversity to it's own site, it has also contributed to the creation of a large-scale urban nature corridor.
This latest addition is only a 3 min walk (and even less if you have wings), to Bruntwood's Foundation Building and it's 340 sqm HYVERY living wall!
Each living wall becomes an ecological stepping stone; providing food, breeding grounds and continuous flight pathways for bugs, pollinators, birds and bats.
