17 York Street has always been a busily occupied office building in Manchester.

Refurbished in the 90’s it has now benefitted from another sustainable re-fit thanks to the expertise of Reid Architects and Specialist Contractor, RCL Services – our first time working with both companies.

With whole life carbon and net zero carbon assessments also being undertaken as part of the re-fit, 17 York Street is now able to demonstrate how as an ‘existing stock’ building, it can help it’s new tenants/occupiers meet their own carbon emissions and ESG targets.

Plants - a mixed approach

Our main project involvement at 17 York Street was in the installation of an internal HYVERT living wall measuring some 17.5 sqm complimented by the installation of live plants in containers and two matching statement artificial Palms and Ferns in the entrance foyer.

For this project, HYVERT design was minimalist in the sense that our clients had not specified any pattern or shape, preferring the living wall to be an organic creation using a vibrant mix of plants which would all blend harmoniously.

Clays Bar – Custom Installations

We’ve just completed a beautifully creative, artificial floral project for Clays Bar in Soho London.

Clay’s guests are now greeted with vibrant flowers, green woodland foliage and a floral feature spiral staircase leading to the basement and main gaming areas; all tucked away under the busy streets of Soho.

Pall Mall Manchester : bespoke planting displays

A fantastic project where we assisted Bruntwood SciTech and Dragonfly Contracts with the redevelopment of listed building, Pall Mall Court in Manchester.

Now know as Pall Mall and benefitting from a total upgrade, the building has made an incredible EPC rating improvement moving from ‘G’ to ‘A’!

We were delighted when a local hospitality business invited us to help their latest venue achieve a biophilic design theme which reflected their restaurant name ‘Juniper’, our design team knew this would become a unique tree-building project.
